We would be taking a digression from our ongoing series on “Understanding Islamic Succession” to briefly bring you details about our Malaadhu Thar’wah ( ملاذ الثروة ) Summit.
On Wednesday, 25th May 2022 we held our first “Malaadhu Thar’wah ( ملاذ الثروة ) Summit” with the Theme: Islamic Estate Planning: Instituting Generational Wealth and Legacies at The Wells Carlton, Abuja. The summit was under the distinguished chairmanship of Alhaji (Dr.) Umaru Abdul Mutallab CON, FCA, FIFP.
Dr. Abdullahi Saliu Ishola FIFP, LL.B, LL.M, PhD, BL, PDE delivered the 1st presentation titled Planning Strategies for Generational Estates Preservation under Islamic Law.
The 2nd presentation was then delivered by Sheikh Yusuf Adamu Toro titled Asset Diversification: Halal Portfolios Opportunities.
Finally, Aishat Abdul-Qadir Zubair made her presentation titled Sustainability of Wealth for Inter-generational Heirs- The Waqf Approach.
