With Walmart’s stock reaching an all-time high, Alice Walton, the only daughter of the retail giant’s founder, Sam Walton, has claimed the position of the world’s wealthiest woman for the first time since May 2022. Walton, 74, now holds an estimated fortune of $89.1 billion, surpassing L’Oreal heiress Françoise Bettencourt Meyers of France, who briefly became the first female centibillionaire in June and currently has an estimated net worth of $88.4 billion.
