In addition to the usual personal documentation, medical reports, vaccination records, certified police clearance certificates, and any court records are required. Approved applicants will receive a permanent resident permit (conditional green card) for a period of two years. Thereafter, once the required job creation or preservation has been demonstrated, the conditions on the green card are removed. To be eligible for citizenship, successful applicants must have lived continuously in the USA for five years and must not be outside the country for longer than six months at a time.

MAIN APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
The applicant must fulfill both of the following requirements:
- Invest in a commercial enterprise associated with a government-approved regional center.
Choose one of these two options:
- USD 800,000 into a targeted employment area project in a rural area or an area with high unemployment.
- USD 1.05 million into a non-targeted employment area project.
Create or preserve 10 permanent full-time jobs for qualified USA workers. In addition, the applicant must:
- Have a net worth of at least USD 1 million.
- Prove the legal source of their funds.
After a green card (EB-5 visa) has been issued, the funds must stay invested for three to seven years depending on the project.
